I know I did this last year, but you are way too special for me to not make this a tradition.

Today, April 2nd, is your birthday. AKA one of my favorite days because we all get to celebrate you! I’m sorry that you have to spend it in quarantine thanks to the coronavirus, but I know you will make the best of it. You have a special talent for always seeing the good in bad situations, and I have no doubt today won’t be any different.

Aubree, you know how much you mean to me. I love you to absolute pieces and I am so blessed to have you in my life. I get all choked up thinking about how much love and meaning you have brought into my life since meeting you. You have introduced me to so many beautiful things in life, and I could never repay you for that.

You are an absolute light in my life. I believe God made us best friends so that we can lean on each other for love, support and share our faith. Having you to worship with has been so special and significant for me. Sharing devotions over social media and sending worship songs that remind us of each other brings me so much joy and happiness. I know God has such big plans for you, and I can’t wait to see what He has in store. You have grand dreams and ambitions, and I know you are going to make them all come true. Your work ethic and devotion to Him will take you far. Hold on to that and you have nothing to fear.

You have always been nothing but supportive. I know that I can always count on you to be there and show love. Even when I tell you something you weren’t expecting or something you might not agree with, you always approach me with understanding and love. You have a way of making people feel heard and understood, me especially, and that means the world.

I hope you know how truly loved you are. By me, your family, your friends, Him. What you put into the world is returned to you. You go through life with an open heart and an open mind, and I hope you are always met with the same. Your kindness and genuineness are unmatched; I could only hope to be as wholesome as you.

Thank you for being you. Thank you for being my best friend and putting up with me. You have remained steady and unwavering through the roughest times. I know this year has been a challenge, but you have powered through it with grace and beauty. I am so proud to call you my best friend. I will always be here for you, come hell or high water.
