Hello! Welcome to my blog! My name is Emily, and I am pretty excited about starting this blog as a place for me to put my thoughts. I’ve always thought about creating a blog, but I didn’t think that anyone would read it. But then I realized that it doesn’t matter if no one reads it, or a million people read it. This blog is really just for me to have fun with! And I love anyone who is willing to take their time to read my thoughts!
So, a little about me:
I come from a family with 3 amazing siblings, a wonderful mom and our dog. I have wonderful friends who keep my life filled with laughter and excitement.
I am 18, a senior in high school, and soon-to-be graduate! I am attending a university in the fall, majoring in nursing with a specialty in neonatal. I am very passionate about children, especially premature babies who are in need of help.
I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. My family is originally from up north (Michigan, more specifically. Go Blue!). I have lived in Charlotte my whole life, and I would love nothing more than to travel in the future. There is a whole world out there, and I hope, God willing, that I will be able to experience it.
I love to sing. Choir is one of my largest passions. I have met many amazing people through my choir community. I find that music speaks louder than most things, and I express many of my feelings through music. My choice in music speaks a lot to my personality, and it is something that I take pride in. I have never created anything original, but I would love to sometime in the future!
I love to read. I have always been fascinated by the creativity of others. It has always amazed me how people just like me are able to create these wonderful worlds and characters and tell a story different from their own. I read mainly young adult with some thriller, but I am always open to explore other genres of books. Basically anything with a good story line is right up my alley!
The last thing that I want to share in this post is my love for our Lord, our God. God is a large part of my life. I look to him in everything that I do. I believe that he has a plan for all of his children. I won’t lie, it took me a while to get to God, but once I did, I realized how loved I am and how beautiful this life is. Even though God throws us curve-balls in our lives, He is doing it to make us stronger. He will never put anything in our path that we cannot over come. I love our God, and He loves me. I want to make a post soon about my faith and how I came to find God and the Holy Spirit soon so I can geek out more about how awesome God is.
That’s me in a nutshell! Life is good, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me!
With Love,
Emily
I’m so glad to be able to get to know you better, even if I’m only reading your posts on a blog ❤️
